Amen End User License Agreement and Terms of Use

Last Updated: September 1, 2026 These Terms and Conditions apply to the Amen mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Application"), operated by LiEnChi ("Service Provider"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the Application.

License to Use the Application

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Service Provider grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Application on a mobile device for personal or internal business purposes. Except as expressly permitted by applicable law, you shall not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application.

Intellectual Property Rights

The Service Provider retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Application, including all code, design, trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, and branding ("Intellectual Property"). Nothing in these Terms grants you any right or license to use the Service Provider's Intellectual Property for any purpose. You agree not to remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices contained in or on the Application.

Termination

The Service Provider may suspend your access to the Application or services if you materially breach these Terms. You will receive written notice of such breach and, where curable, will have fourteen (14) days from receipt to remedy the breach. Failure to cure the breach within this period may result in immediate termination of access. The Service Provider reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate your access without prior notice if you violate applicable laws, infringe intellectual property rights, or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the Service Provider.

Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms shall cease immediately, and you must delete all copies of the Application from your devices. By accessing and using the Application, you represent that you are legally authorized to do so in your jurisdiction. You must be at least 13 years of age (or the legal age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Application. If you are under 13, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms on your behalf. Unauthorized copying, modification of the Application (in whole or in part), or misuse of the Service Provider's trademarks is strictly prohibited. You shall not attempt to extract the source code, translate the Application, or create derivative works. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights relating to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider. User-Generated Content and Acceptable Use Policy If the Application permits users to post, share, or upload content, you agree not to submit any content that:

• Is unlawful or infringes third-party intellectual property rights (copyrights, trademarks, patents)
• Is abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or constitutes hate speech
• Promotes discrimination, violence, or illegal acts
• Constitutes spam, phishing, or contains malicious code
• Violates the privacy or personal data rights of others
• Is misleading, false, or deceptive
• Contains explicit violence or sexually explicit material (unless appropriately age-restricted)

The Service Provider reserves the right to:

• Remove or disable access to content violating these guidelines
• Suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders
• Cooperate with law enforcement authorities regarding illegal content
• Moderate, filter, or hide content violating these Terms, applicable law, or the guidelines set forth above

Content submitted through the Application may be visible to other users or the public, depending on Application functionality. If you believe content violates these Terms or infringes your rights, you may report it to amen.leepj@gmail.com. Reports should include sufficient detail to identify the content, evaluate the claim, and contact you for follow-up. Where available, you may also report content, block users, or mute notifications directly within the Application. In-app reports are reviewed under the same standards set forth herein. The Service Provider may review reported content, request further information, remove or restrict content, and take appropriate action against non-compliant accounts. Affected users may appeal moderation decisions by contacting amen.leepj@gmail.com. Appeals will be reviewed within a reasonable timeframe, with reasons provided for upheld decisions in accordance with applicable law. By submitting User-Generated Content, you grant the Service Provider a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform such content in connection with the Application and the Service Provider's business. This license does not grant the right to independently sell or sublicense your content to third parties outside the Application. You represent and warrant that you own or control all rights to your content and that its use does not violate these Terms or applicable law. User content may contain personal data. Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. Do not post third-party personal data without proper consent.

Service Modifications and Device Considerations

The Service Provider strives to ensure the Application is as effective and efficient as possible, and reserves the right to modify the Application or introduce fees for its services at any time. Any applicable charges will be clearly communicated in advance. The Application does not store or process personal data provided by you. Maintaining the security of your device and Application access is your responsibility. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your device (removing official operating system restrictions). Doing so may expose your device to security vulnerabilities, malware, and viruses, and may cause the Application to malfunction or fail completely. The Service Provider is not responsible for certain operational limitations. Functions requiring an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular) may fail if connectivity is unavailable or data caps are exceeded. When using the Application outside Wi-Fi coverage, your mobile network provider's standard terms apply, including potential data and roaming charges. You accept responsibility for all such fees, including roaming rates incurred outside your home region/country. If you are not the bill payer, you represent that you have obtained permission from the bill payer. Similarly, the Service Provider is not liable for device issues affecting your access, such as battery depletion. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits consumer protection rights that cannot be lawfully waived under applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including loss of profits, data, or business interruption—even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Service Provider retains full liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service Provider's total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Application in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or the minimum amount required by law, whichever is greater. If the Application is provided free of charge, liability is limited to the minimum amount permitted by law. The Service Provider assumes no liability for direct or indirect losses arising from reliance on third-party content or inaccuracies provided through the Application.

Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Service Provider, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms or intentional misuse of the Application, including User-Generated Content submitted in violation of these Terms. This indemnification does not apply to claims resulting from the Service Provider's own negligence, breach of Terms, or violation of law. Where consumer indemnification is restricted by law, this section shall apply to the maximum extent permitted.

Updates and Service Termination

The Service Provider may issue updates to the Application. Operating system requirements may change, requiring you to download updates to continue using the Application. The Service Provider is not obligated to provide updates or ensure compatibility with your specific OS version. You should accept updates when offered; failure to update may result in unsupported or malfunctioning software. The Service Provider reserves the right to cease offering or terminate the Application at any time without notice. Upon termination: (a) all licenses granted to you end immediately; and (b) you must cease using and delete the Application from your device.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.), excluding conflict of law principles, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws in your region. Disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Taiwan. Nothing in this section limits mandatory legal rights to bring claims before competent courts.

EU Digital Services Act (DSA) Compliance

If the Application qualifies as an intermediary service under the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, "DSA"), the following provisions apply:

• Single Point of Contact: The Service Provider maintains a single contact point for EU authorities and service recipients at amen.leepj@gmail.com. If established outside the EU, a legal representative in the EU has been designated pursuant to Article 13 of the DSA.
• Content Moderation & Statement of Reasons: If access to content is restricted, or an account is suspended or terminated, a clear statement of reasons will be provided to the affected user detailing the decision's legal/contractual basis and available redress options pursuant to Article 17 of the DSA.
• Notice and Action: Notices regarding allegedly illegal content may be submitted to amen.leepj@gmail.com. Notices will be processed diligently without sole reliance on automated decision-making where human review is required. Confirmation of receipt and decisions will be communicated without undue delay pursuant to Article 16 of the DSA.
• Out-of-Court Dispute Settlement: Content moderation disputes may be referred to certified out-of-court dispute settlement bodies under Article 21 of the DSA. The Service Provider will engage with such bodies in good faith without waiving your right to judicial remedies.
• Transparency Reporting: Periodic transparency reports regarding moderation volume and automated means are published pursuant to Article 24 of the DSA and available upon request via amen.leepj@gmail.com.

DSA provisions apply solely to the extent the Application constitutes an intermediary service and do not replace mandatory consumer or data protection rights.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, while all remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Service Provider concerning the Application, superseding all prior agreements or understandings.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

The Service Provider may update these Terms periodically. You are advised to review this page regularly. Changes will be posted directly on this page. Previous versions may be requested via amen.leepj@gmail.com.
